I need the best driver’s license lawyer in Michgan to help me, and you guys seem like you are themost knowledgeable drivers license lawyers in Michigan. I was convicted for drunk driving in Roseville Michigan about 4 -5 years ago and I recently got another drunk driving in Fraser Michigan (same court, 39th Judicial District Court). I am almost more concerned about my driver’s license than going to jail even though I know I may go to jail. My queston is … is it true that no matter what happens, if I get convicted of drunk driving/OWI or even impaired driving, the State of Michigan Secretary of State will take away my Michigan driver’s license privledges for 1 whole year! Can I at least drive to work if the court allows it for this year revokation of my Michigan driver’s license? Can the driver’s license attorneys at Canu Torrice Law help??? I am freaking out.

That is correct. If you have 2 or more drinking and driving related convictions in Michigan, regardless of whether the convitions are for OWI (Operating While Intoxicated) or OWVI (Operating While Visibly Impaired), or any combination of these offenses, then the Michigan Secretary of State will automatically impose a 1 year revokation of your Michigan driver’s license, and after a year you are only eligible to petition for a reinstatement of your driving privledges, you do not automatically get your Michigan driver’s license back!
That’s where Canu Torrice Law can help.
